ubuntuJakiś czas temu wpadłem na pomysł napisania własnego programu do łamania haseł szyfrowanych metodą MD5 w C++, działającego pod Linuksem. Dziś udostępniam moje 'dzieło’ publicznie.

Teoria, czyli co to jest?

MD5 jest szyfrem kryptograficznym wykorzystywanym do szyfrowania dowolnych ciągów alfanumerycznych(najczęściej haseł), które zostają przekształcone na 128-bitowe(32-znakowe) skróty. Przykładowo wyraz haslo po zaszyfrowaniu przyjmuje postać 207023ccb44feb4d7dadca005ce29a64.

Z racji, iż algorytm MD5 jest jednostronny nie ma możliwości odwrócenia hasha do postaci pierwotnej, tak jak ma to miejsce w przypadku Base64, czy ROT13. Dlatego też w celu odszyfrowania hasha użyjemy techniki zwanej brute force. Atak BF polega na generowaniu wszystkich możliwych kombinacji z danego ciągu znaków i porównywaniu ich skrótów z hashem, który chcemy złamać. W teorii dzięki tej metodzie możemy złamać każde hasło, w praktyce jednak może to potrwać dziesiątki, setki, a nawet tysiące lat dla bardzo skomplikowanych i długich haseł.

Praktyka, czyli jak to zrobić?

Pierwszą rzeczą od, której należy zacząć to szyfrowanie haseł funkcją MD5. Program będziemy pisać w C++, który nie ma domyślnie zaimplementowanej powyższej funkcji. Niezbędne zatem będą nam poniższe 4 pliki.

Jest on dostosowany pod Windowsa. My użyjemy Linuksa, więc kod winien wyglądać troszeczkę inaczej. Przyda się także kilka dodatkowych plików nagłówkowych. Poniżej przedstawiam w pełni działający Brutus v0.1 al’a Linux by Komeniusz wraz z komentarzami.

To by było na tyle. Pokaże jeszcze jak Brutus zachowuje się w praktyce. Może nie jest on najszybszy na 'rynku’, nie generuje ciągu w klasyczny sposób, ale jest napisany samodzielnie i daje niesamowity efekt jak na filmach 'hakerskich’.

  1. Bez wyświetlania na konsole, przy przekierowaniu do pliku na ramdisk, uważam że mam niepomijalne podstawy, aby sądzić, że czas programu powinien być niemniejszy;D
